Meet the Communications Committee

This year our club has restructured itself into several separate but interlocking committees in order to increase attention and focus expertise in all aspects of our club. Our largest committee is the Communications Committee which has been doing a great job increasing awareness about our club’s offerings and events. If you see any of the members of our Communications Committee at an Ad Club event, please come up and say Hi. We would love to meet you. If you would be interested in helping out on our committee this year or in the future, please contact Angela Schumacher at or 920-226-0838.

 Andy Hetzel — E-Blast

Andy HetzelI am an über creative individual with a passion for art, design, branding & music. I have always had an affinity for the macabre side of creativity whether it’s tattooing or building my own halloween props. I cut my teeth early on by obsessively drawing and emulating my favorite comic book artists when I was 12 years old. My love of drawing evolved into a love of design and earned my degree in graphic design in college. I learned to play bass guitar around this same time and eventually went on to play original music in a variety of hard rock bands in my 20s. If it’s creative I am interested in learning everything about it…AH.

Andy started the season helping us format and deploy our e-newsletters to keep everyone informed about upcoming events and other relevant news. (You can sign up to receive our e-newsletters on our contact page.) If you would be interested in helping us out in this role too, please contact Angela at or 920-226-0838.

Mike Roemer — Green Bay Distribution

Mike RoemerI’m a commercial and editorial photographer based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. My professional career started with a ten year stint as a newspaper photographer in South Dakota. I returned to Green Bay in the mid-1990s to start my own business, and now regularly travel around the U.S. for my clients.
I’ve won first place awards in Pictures of the Year International, National Press Photographers Best of Photojournalism and National Headliners along with being a three time winner in the Pro Football Hall of Fame photo contest.
I love the variety of projects that I get to work on from healthcare annual reports, high energy casino and gaming shoots, industrial projects at cheese manufacture to steel plants, corporate culture assignments to documenting the Green Bay Packers.
My wife Judy and I have been foster parents for the past two years.  When I’m not busy behind the camera, I can be found having a slightly below-room-temperature German bier in my heavily wooded backyard perfecting my barbecuing skills and playing with my high energy pup, Chica.
Mike helps the Fox River Ad Club by delivering event posters in the Green Bay area. Make sure to ask Mike what’s coming up next with Fox River Ad Club!
