- Attend monthly one hour Board meetings, review & approve budgets, and be part of decisions on behalf of the club

+ Programming
Are you a planner and organized? This is your opportunity to use those skills. Plan and execute our professional development and networking events. Connect with local and national professionals to creatively secure a diverse lineup of distinguished speakers.
+ What this looks like
- Plan and execute in-person and virtual events including our monthly Lunch & Learn series
- Actively partner with national and local professionals to secure speakers and work with Communications Committee to promote
- Supervise the reservation process as well as the overall event
+ Membership
Are you the social butterfly of your group? Then we need you! Connect with current members to strengthen the membership experience and reach out to new potential members to encourage them to join!
+ What this looks like
- Connect via email or phone with new members to personally welcome them to the Club
- Actively seek new members, communicate the benefits of AAF, and encourage them to join
- Touch base with existing members throughout the season to see how membership is going and encourage the to get involved
- Work with Communications Committee to plan and execute annual Membership Drive and ongoing membership promotion
+ Education
Are you part of a school or university? Education is the cornerstone of our organization. Fox River Ad Club offers student-centric events such as annual portfolio reviews, mentorship, and networking opportunities for emerging talent.
+ What this looks like
- Plan and execute programs to appeal to our student membership including the annual portfolio review
- Connect student members with professional members in the organization for mentorship opportunities
- Actively partner with local high schools and colleges to encourage student participation in the Club
+ Communications
Are you strong with social media, graphic design, writing, email marketing, and/or websites? Gain valuable professional experience on this committee in a role where you can help AAF Fox River literally advertise to current and future members.
+ What this looks like
- Help create and execute a digital strategy to promote membership, events, ongoings of the club
- Create graphics, write copy, and/or schedule & post social media campaigns
- Source and update blog and podcast content for the Club
- Create and maitain monthly email newsletter
+ AAA
Be part of the group to organize and execute the industry’s most prestigious competition, showcasing high-caliber work in Northeast Wisconsin. Fox River Ad Club is proud to host the local level awards for Northeast Wisconsin.
+ What this looks like
- Promote the AAA Competition
- Assist other committee chairs in preparing materials needed for entering
- Supervise the preparation of entries
- Plan and promote the AAA Event
+ Government Relations
Do you always know the latest news and gossip? This committee maintains due diligence on legislative activity and reports about pending or proposed city, state or national legislation affecting advertising in any of its forms.
+ What this looks like
- Maintain due diligence on legislative activity as outlined above whereby the committee may study and report to the Board of Directors and/or Club members.
- Recommend a form of action by the Club, if deemed necessary
- Be responsive to the national legislative activities of the AAF when such involvement is requested
+ Public Service
Calling all volunteers and nonprofits! We are always looking for ways we can partner with charities in our community. This role will help match professional advertising and promotion assistance to civic, charitable and public service projects.

- Bring professional advertising and promotion assistance to civic, charitable, and public service projects as approved by the Board of Directors
